Past Perfect Tense

Past Perfect Tense:

Past Perfect Tense indicates that some action occoured before another action in the past. It may be used to express the order of events taken place. It also indicates an action completed before a specific time in the past.

Examples:

  • I had never seen such a beautiful place before I went to Manali.
  • JUdy had never looked so beautiful before.
  • By the time I finished my studies, my mother had gone to sleep.
